The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) are India’s most prestigious technical universities, globally renowned for producing top engineering and technology talent. Alumni include leaders such as Google CEO Sundar Pichai and founders of major tech companies like Infosys.
During this visit, representatives from the IIT Startup Incubation Center (Technology Innovation Hub & Incubation Center) — a key hub in India’s national startup ecosystem — met with Next Challenge to explore opportunities for collaboration. The center plays a pivotal role in supporting promising tech startups and building global innovation networks.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on potential areas of collaboration, including:
Co-scouting and fostering high-potential startups
Launching joint Korea-India global acceleration programs
Facilitating talent exchange and joint research initiatives
Youngrok Kim, CEO of Next Challenge, commented,"India’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem and world-class innovation capacity present exciting partnership opportunities. We look forward to building a strong Korea-India innovation bridge through our global network and experience."
Moving forward, both sides plan to pursue a formal MOU and co-develop joint programs to foster deeper cooperation.
